Ep 11 – YPO – Chico Fire Chief Bill Hack

On June 21st, our City of Chico Fire Chief Bill Hack addressed our Young Professionals Organization at their monthly Leadership Luncheon.  Bill begins with a quick history of fire departments and his background, then moves on to discuss more local topics such as measuring fire staff performance, reducing risk in our community, and the future of our local fire stations.  At the end of the conversation Bill also adds in his thoughts on the “art vs. skill” of leadership and how important it is to have great messaging and communications skills.

“The Chico Chamber YPO are Young career-oriented individuals, people 10 years or less into their professional career, fostering community leadership through networking and professional development.”

Ep # 7 YPO @ Nashs Restaurant with Enloe’s Jolene Francis

This episode features Jolene Francis, CFRE, Director of Advancement & Communications of Enloe Medical Center speaking to our Young Professionals Organization Wednesday, February 15th at local establishment Nash’s Restaurant.

Since 1979, Jolene has enjoyed a professional career in both for-profit and non-profit industries of Chico.  Born at Enloe Medical Center, she feels very much at home guiding the activities of the Enloe Foundation, Marketing and Communications Departments as Director of Advancement and Communications.  She is also a Vice Chair on our Chico Chamber Board of Directors.

Listen, as Jolene tells the history of Enloe, all of the many awesome services they offer, and some endearing patient stories. I know some of our audience had a tear in their eye.
